What is graduation postponement?
Graduation postponement is to delay graduation for various reasons such as double major, minor, acquisition of certificates and completion certificate, even if the graduation requirements are met. To postpone graduation, a student should apply for graduation postponement. However, graduation cannot be postponed for any other reasons.
Graduation postponement application eligibility
A student who have completed the courses for more than 4 years (8 semesters) or satisfied all the graduation criteria can apply for graduation postponement due to the above reasons.
However, the graduation postponement period cannot exceed a maximum of three years.
Application period and method
Students can apply two times a year during a set period. (See the academic calendar.)
How to apply: [Login] → [Student Services] → [Apply for School Register Change] → [Apply for Early Graduation]
A student who is eligible for early graduation (who completed 6 or 7 semesters) doesn’t have to apply for graduation postponement if the student has not applied for early graduation, because the student is not a regular graduate.
If a student doesn’t meet the graduation requirement at the last semester, the student cannot graduate even though the student doesn’t apply for graduation postponement.
If a student applies for graduation postponement, the student must register and enroll in the next semester.
If the student doesn’t enroll, the student will be expelled due to non-registration.
